County of Bergen to Expedite the Paving of County Roads within the Township of Washington

Twp. of Washington NJ, the County of Bergen has agreed to expedite the paving of County roads within the Township of Washington . The milling and paving to begin in late August early September and impact neighboring towns of Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus and Hillsdale  .

Stevens Institute of Technology to Conduct a Flood Study of the Pascack Valley

Twp. of Washington NJ, for years residents and businesses of the Pascack Valley have been plagued by ever increasing flood events. All of the  surrounding communities have agreed to work together and retain Stevens Institute of Technology to conduct a flood study and provide solutions for our residents. Senator Holly Schepisi, said, “It was my pleasure to work with our mayors and secure $200,000 in this year’s state budget to fund the study. State and local government working together for the benefit of those we represent.”

Twp. of Washington Conducts Drone Flyover Along Musquapsink Brook

Twp of Washington NJ, as part of the town’s continuing efforts to address storm-water issues, starting Friday, December 2, 2022 Boswell Engineering will be starting to collect data using a flying drone along the southern limit of the Musquapsink Brook. The drone flights will start near Sherry Field and work up towards Ridgewood Rd. starting at approximately 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Twp. of Washington NJ, the Twp. of Washington Department of Public Works may finally have a new home at the site of a former Charlie Brown’s restaurant. A bond ordinance to appropriate $1.35 million to buy 95 Linwood Avenue. was introduced this month. The final hearing for the ordinance will take place at a future council meeting.
