Ridgewood Village Council prepares to do battle with NJ State Historic Preservation Office

Ridgewood NJ, when informed by Village Engineer Christopher Rutishauser Wednesday evening that the NJ State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) will control almost every aspect of their plan to develop the Schedler property, Village Council members were visibly perturbed. Especially after Mr. Rutishauser said that a full sized athletic field with artificial turf and permanent lighting would probably not be approved by SHPO.

Observations about the Ridgewood Infant Toddler Daycare Center (ITDC) controversy

Ridgewood NJ, First of all, it is obviously very loved by the parents who bring their children there.  This is good.  Every daycare should be loved by the clients.  But wait, you have not heard the whole story yet.  As it turns out, the fact that the program is loved by its clients is utterly immaterial to the matter at hand.

Progressive Groups Looking for More, More, More

Trenton NJ, Senator Michael Testa called the $3 billion tax increase plan promoted this week by a coalition of progressive organizations “a recipe for disaster.”

Sen. Michael Testa derided a plan to increase taxes by $3 billion, floated this week by liberal organizations. ‘Taxes are the problem, not the solution,’ he said.

Ridgewood NJ, given the recent finding of ethics violations against the former Mayor Paul Aronsohn and his side kick former Village Manager Roberta Sonenfeld  for promoting instead of educating the public ,did the Ridgewood Board of Education unlawfully use taxpayer dollars by erecting this sign on the lawn of a taxpayer owned building in an attempt to influence voters prior to the Fall 2016 General Election?
