New Milford NJ, a violent stabbing near New Milford High School on Monday afternoon left one victim hospitalized in critical but stable condition, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

📅 Date: Monday, March 17, 2025
🕒 Time: Around 3:15 p.m.
📍 Location: River Road near Madison Plaza, adjacent to New Milford High School

Authorities responded to reports of a large brawl in the area. Upon arrival, police discovered a stabbed victim, who was immediately rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

Suspect Fled the Scene

🚨 Two (2) suspects were apprehended by New Milford Police officers shortly after the stabbing was reported. Sources indicated that as many as five (5) other suspects are actively being sought by authorities.

🚔 The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and New Milford Police Department are actively investigating the case as an attempted homicide.
