Teaneck NJ, a new proposal by School Superintendent Andre Spencer to collaborate with “outside organizations” for educating students on “global issues” has faced criticism. Spencer’s letter suggested partnering with groups like the Anti-Defamation League and the New Jersey chapter of the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR-NJ) to create webinars for schools.

U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer criticized the proposal, expressing concerns about consulting CAIR-NJ, which he considers “openly antisemitic,” citing their alleged praise for Hamas terrorists.

Gottheimer said Spencer’s letter was brought to his attention by a group of residents after the December holidays, and responded Monday with a two-and-a-half page statement questioning Spencer’s proposal to consult CAIR-NJ, which he criticized as “openly antisemitic.” Students hold a walkout rally for Palestine at Teaneck High School Nov. 29, 2023. “While I support efforts to provide students with a variety of viewpoints, CAIR has openly praised the Hamas terrorists that brutally attacked Israel on Oct. 7,” Gottheimer stated in a letter to Spencer. “The organization should not be afforded a pulpit to prompt antisemitism and hatred as part of Teaneck’s curriculum.”

During a 2008 retrial of the Holy Land Foundation Case, FBI Special Agent Lara Burns labeled CAIR “a front group for Hamas.” In January 2009, the FBI’s DC office instructed all field offices to cut ties with CAIR, as the ban extended into the Obama administration.

  1. Americans, whether citizens, students, or educators, should beware of CAIR or any terrorist-front group that seeks to use our naivety about world events to insert their propaganda into public discourse or children’s education.

    1. I’m thinking of a certain government that has the biggest military budget in the world and more military bases around the world than any other country, which consistently uses its military power to interfere with, invade, infiltrate and overthrow other governments relying on tactics that can readily be defined as terroristic. This government, as a rule, also propagandizes its own naive, consumerist, drug addicted and fantasy addled citizenry through its politically controlled media, entertainment and education system. Motes and beams and eyes, oh my.

    1. I gotta tell ya, this is — hands down — the worst white supremacist nation I have ever lived in. The hu-whyte pepol are sposda be all oppressive and stuff, but it seems to be perfectly acceptable to scheisse all over them all the time. Jesus God, imagine if at the height of Not-See Germany Turd Reich colleges were teaching courses about how to love your Hebrew neighbors. Does it make sense? And the thing is, when something doesn’t make sense, it might be *your* assumptions that are wrong.

      Anyways, Chiefs 21-14.

      1. We are living in a Black Privileged America.

        It’s settled science

  3. Blacks have abandoned the Jews…the Jews were their advocates for decades…..interesting turn of events.

    1. If only this were true.
