  1. You can perform any math calculation that you like. It does not tell you much.

Not all students are capable of scoring above 1200. I don’t know how that will factor into your math. Maybe a student that scored 1100 had a great test that day. These averages do not tell you anything about the students achievement and how much the high school helped.

  2. You are complaining about being #11????? We have a large percentage of students in our schools with special needs – something that we are proud of. Move to Millburn. I’m sure we won’t miss you.

  3. I’m satisfied with spending over $100 million/year and being out of the top 10 schools in NJ (let alone the country) and barely breaking 1250 out of 1600 on the SAT
    .
But then again, I’m rich and don’t have high academic aspirations for my kids.
    .
    How about you?

  4. You are complaining about being #11?????
We’re #24th – not #11 (no matter how many ways you edit the data).
    Read the article.
    .
BTW, being 24th is nothing to brag about, given the money we spend (waste?) on education and the RHS “Tradition of excellence”.

  5. 3:34 have a talk with the majority of the town that puts sports before studies. My kids fall in the 99% for ACT/SAT. We have always put academics first. Pays off in the end. I don’t feel my money is being wasted at all. My kids are pretty set.
