“All these problems that the Village has been denying would occur are almost here. The fact that the official people in Ridgewood would constantly parrot the builders quotes when it was obvious to even a child that all these additions would include a massive influx in needs for all our services. As someone stated “What did they get out of it for lying so freely?” Paul got his first state political appointment which he hopes will lead to bigger and better things. Our present Mayor changed to becoming a real estate agent and all these new developments will benefit him. What was gained by the others happily rushing into this? Will they all be gone when reality sets in? They all HAD to know what would be the reality of all this development. What did they gain by their massive pretend ignorance?”

Mmmmm
Many many times the level headed members of the previous council (all 2 of them) TRIED to work to mitigate this craziness.
They were sabotaged before they began by 2 previous corrupt councils and the 3 corrupt members of the last one.
This current council has done what they can but the deed was done. If you don’t know that, don’t comment.
The other boards were corrupted as well and the new planning board (newer) ALsO had their hands tied by the previous council.
Do a little research. Don’t jump on a bitching bandwagon!
council is over their head and drowning. what are they going to do about it now is the question, besides whining
No new renters will have children or cars. They will walk to the train for all transportation everywhere, including when buying food. They will patronize downtown restaurants and other businesses and stay home the rest of the time.
What’s wrong with this picture?
Just remember all this when the developer who wants to put elder care on Broad St with only a small amount of parking. He stated that there will no extra strain on services. This is not Senior citizen housing so don’t get your hopes up. This is going to be a nursing home. More EMS call . More
water. Well if James J. Tedesco and the Bergen County Democrat machine want it our Mayor and at lest one other Councilman will be all in.
Did you notice at all the locations that they are building on, they are destroying the streets around them.
Taxpayer, what are you Denise Lima??? There is nothing the current council can do about these massive construction projects. Nothing. And by the way, the council members are not whining. The members of the public who are getting screwed are whining, and rightfully so.
This is one of the key impacts as poster said re shit roads before have been further creamated ..our cars tires and backs are being destroyed every day
Ref to earlier
Did you notice at all the locations that they are building on, they are destroying the streets around them.
MMM, and other comment, there is plenty the current council could have done to scale back what is going on and there is plenty they could do now other than getting ready for more development to go into town.
Look at the facts, and don’t comment on others’ veracity until you do.
