“What no one talks about but the type of voter who moves into high density has different objectives than one buying a single family home. In Ridgewood we had a mayor who had run twice for Congress and lost twice in part because single family homeowner types didn’t buy off on his program. So once in Ridgewood the push began for high density housing, large garages, bike paths… all things that appeal to the kind of voter who would support him in another run for Congress. Things blew up before he got his wish but the move to making Ridgewood a different kind of community had already gone too far.would be surprised if Teaneck was not similar. “

  1. FORMER Mayor Paul Aronsohn (sorry Jan Philips; despite your insistence, he is no longer Ridgewood’s mayor) ran only once for United States Congress, in 2006. He lost, thankfully, because voters realized he had nothing to offer them.

  2. But almost everyone in Ridgewood fell for his bullshit and vote all three in. Now were are this dopy voters.

  3. Current council isn’t any better. What have they done for us lately.

  4. Don’t High Density Shame Me!

  5. Where’s your “free market, laissez-faire” point of view” now?

    1. ask the taxpayers who are footing the infrastructure bill

      1. or even better how about all the people who promoted high density , split the bill including the 3 amigos and a host of local loud mouths ??
