There is a claus I believe #7 in the lease where the Village can terminate. Why they have not done this is beyond reason. NO answers. The tenant is hostile and has filed reports against neighbors so maybe they are doing their HW before setting her off into a suit against the village as she has threatened!

Rumor of her suing her old tenant is being looked into to.

Great person to rent to!

Aside from that the lease is vague and was written under the supervision of the old council in favor of the tenant not the town!! The 3 amigos and Roberta had an agenda to get this business in this space…don’t forget the hostile tenant is a friend of former manager Roberta and classmate

There is also an appendix to the lease so you really have to dig to get all the facts and “gifts” that were given to this business it was not written with the tax payers or residents of Ridgewood in mind at all!

Again a mis use of tax dollars and should be terminated immediately but has not…I believe because of the threat of a law suit.

Sad situation for those neighbors!!

  1. There is a letter circulating by council person who has been formally charged with mis use of his position or something like that.

    Anyway this guy Jeff wrote a letter in favor of this business…why?

    Also in his letter he wrote that her pse&g bill is being questioned. Does this tenant NOT pay bills? I would assume for that measly rent in Ridgewood they would at least pay their bills. They don’t pay taxes!

    What is going on with this property and how do we find out more?

  2. Jeff Voigt makes his living as a writer. And yet his letter is full of grammar errors. And of course factual errors. He us incompetent on every level.

  3. Let’s look out how it was even allowed….they changed a lot for Healthbarn to come to Habernickle. Old council changed the “use” of the house to Educational Recreational behind neighborhoods backs. When neighbors heard about it it was too late to do anything. When I needed a variance I had to send letters to my neighbors….why didn’t the Village do that before changing the “use”? Let’s look into how many rules were changed by Stacey’s BFF Roberta & Parks & rec ?

  4. What are the real chances we can dump this operation? Actually, they are NIL. It is being used for classes offered in the Ridgewood Community School leaflet. And it had heavy Village use during the holidays. It seems that maybe Roberta isn’t the only sponsor. To use a very old phrase “something stinks in Ridgewood!”

  6. Is the Village even looking at what Stacey presented at VC meeting way back in Nov 2015? Stacey brought parents & kids to talk about how much they enjoyed classes & how Stacey helped them. Nothing about restaurant style dinners with alcohol in the evenings or adult parties you can have Healthbarn run. Instead she did mention 2 night classes for “family gatherings”. No mention on her website about Family gathering dinners at night Alcohol was also never discussed. Stacey mislead the VC & the residents that alone should be cause for releasing her from her lease.

  7. Let’s look at what Jeff Voigt run his campaign on. He misled us with all his fancy signs & quotes. What a liar….. people voted for him & what he told us be wanted to do for the Village. Such a big disappointment for the residents & for the residents who thought he shared the same views.

  8. Regardless of who uses it if the proper measures were not used to place a for profit business in a park there is a problem. If favors were and still are being done for past council memebers and present ( Jeff). There is a problem. If this endevour is costing tax payers Money there is a problem. Plain and simple.

  9. Seems this business is ruffling a lot of feathers. Maybe if questions were answered there would not be such negativity.

    If the business did not mis represent itself back in 2015 and was transparent about the activities it was actually offering the village may have all said NOWAY! But because of the BS that was fed to everyone it seems like the ones in the know are wrong

    If the business had nothing to hide or worry about it would not need losers like Jeff and Roberta to advocate for it

    The whole thing is a sham just like Jeffand his buddies and his lies to friends and neighbors to get office

  10. What needs to be explored is #1 what does this business do for Ridgewood besides pay a below market rent?

    What benefits are there for Ridgewood to place a business in a park? To have changed the use of a home and whole residential area?

    Why are certain folk supporting this to the extreme of embarrassing themselves?

    And most importantly how much is this business costing the town of Ridgewood to be here?

    And lastly if the business was down the street in waldwick would Ridgewood lose out on anything besides the under market rent?

    Any class she does for the town or Ridgewood she gets paid,so why do we tax payers have to give up a park and a rental property?

  11. Bottom line a business venture should never be personal SO:

    No matter whose friend or who is in support or WHATEVER the business does or claims to do IF IT COSTS RIDGEWOOD TAX PAYERS MONEY TO PROFIT INOUR PARK that is not fair. Just move it

  12. Change it back to a home.
    Collect market value rent
    Get your 11 acres back
    Get baseball and soccer parking back
    Turn off the lights for God’s sake
    And give the ridgewood back it’s neighborhood
    AND STOP doing favors for friends with MY tax dollar

  14. Something does stink in Ridgewood – the present value of future wages, benefits and pensions for the Mayor’s three sons are worth multi-millions in Village taxpayer dollars. While this wasn’t found to be an ethics violation because its a civil issue, it sure doesn’t pass the smell test. The Mayor should be above her interest in twisting rules and requirements, and voting in favour of maintaining residency requirements in order to set up this lifetime family pay off in the millions of Village taxes for each son. She is just as conflicted on Police & Fire discussion as Roberta is on Habernickle or Gwen was on Valley.
