rhs 2020 schools out

“The conditions the NJEA are on the verge of forcing the state to impose on life in the public schools are so draconian as to cause normal parents to recoil in horror. This is intentional. The NJEA has been working overtime to make sure the state offers all parents the option of keeping their children at home indefinitely from the start of the school year based on generalized COVID-19 fears and anxiety. The one-two punch routine is completed by the NJEA pushing school re-opening guidelines that are so drastic as to cause parents to conclude that the schools will end up becoming glorified detention centers or penitentiaries. The NJEA figures most parents love their children too much to force them to endure the degrading and dehumanizing treatment the public schools are certain to have in store for them.”

  1. Your children’s education is going to be determined by the Government and the Teachers Union.
I hope that makes you feel good.

  2. Money grab by socialists

  3. science says kids should be in school come september. half day in and half day out every other day is nonsense.

lets get back to a full day with each class offering remote access for parents who prefer to keep their kids at home.

boe call last evening was a cop out….they refused to answer questions real time. lets have an adult discussion and answers questions even if it takes hours.

  4. Why does this feel like an effort to squeeze more money out of us?

  5. The Teachers Union exists to make educating more expensive and less accountable. Who cares what they have to say? The NJEA’s goals are not aligned with parents and taxpayers.

  6. All I know is if the numbers go up and keep my kid home. I don’t give two shits about what is the law, what’s right what’s wrong teachers union board of education, family first

  7. The last thing any individual teacher will want is to have to convey substantive information both fully live AND fully online. If both are required, neither option will end up amounting to a comprehensive or worthwhile learning experience for any student, because the teacher will be stretched too thin and get burned out. Mediocrity (or worse) will pour forth like a holy flood.
