  1. What do you want for 11% of a billion dollars per year?

  2. The school system and the town is so overrated. There are so many other great towns right next-door.

  3. A lot more than prettier bathrooms and windows! And definitely a lot less than another handful of administrators!

  4. School needs to encourage kids in music, art, theater, coding, web design/development, chemistry, physics Have more physical activities and have school open on the weekends so that kids can gather together and create something by having access to school resources. Having a creative environment where kids can learn. Teachers need to intensify their knowledge and have patience

  5. All the mor reason to build apartments for families to move to town and get their education for free.

  6. We just can’t catch a break with the friends of developers aid society gang here..
Neighbors openly talking about selling and getting out with half a loaf..storms on horizon..no kids in the house to route to the ridgewood anchored cash stripping school based tax waste build spend repeat and increase fees and taxes on common taxpayers
    operation in force.Realtors love this..for now…

  7. On back to school night the RHS principal boasted that he has been all over the world and has never met the quality of education that RHS provides. I couldn’t believe my ears. I whispered to my wife “This guy is full of himself. We’re doomed”. Right there you have the answer for the RHS ranking woes. If right now we’re ranked 38th in NJ I bet next year we will fall below 50.
There are some teachers at RHS who are trying to reinvent the wheel with their teaching methods and basically just pose a problem to class without even giving lessons on it. So kids have to figure out where to find the info and study it by themselves. Teachers are not teaching and then we have to fork out $$$ for tutors. They are confusing and stressing these kids out with their “innovative” ways.
There are a lot of other teachers who really enjoy their work and are dedicated and I respect them. But I have a terrible feeling for the future when I think of where we are now and what will happen when the large buildings pop out across town.
I never thought I would consider moving but now it is seriously in my radar however painful it can be.
