Ridgewood NJ, The Ridgewood Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, approved a Memorandum of Agreement, subject to mutually agreed-upon contract language, establishing the terms and conditions for a successor collective negotiations agreement between the Ridgewood Board of Education and the Ridgewood Education Association (REA), effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024.
The Memorandum of Agreement was ratified by members of the REA on April 28, 2021. This is the first time in 18 years that such an agreement was reached prior to the expiration of the contract between the Ridgewood Board of Education and the REA.
