Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Board of Education had a robust discussion on Monday, Sept 13th regarding district goals for this school year. The Board agreed to focus on data-driven goals relative to mental health, DEI  (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ), communication, and student achievement. The discussion can be found in the BOE meeting video starting at 1:08:58 (one hour, eight minutes, and 58 seconds). The presentation ensued from a presentation by an external consultant.

At one point, Ms. Brogan argued to drop the DEI goal, asserting that the district has already achieved diversity and equity in the district.

  1. “The presentation ensued from a presentation by an external consultant.”

OK, so you KNOW where this is leading.

  2. If you want Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teach them Reading, Writing and Arithmetic.
When you fail at Education there will never be DEI.

  3. DEI is the opposite of competence. Take your pick as you can’t have both.

  4. Their “goal” is the continued brainwashing of Ridgewood taxpayers into paying for a 100mm budget that said residents were stupid enough to sign their voting rights away on and continue the ruse with the guidance of a corrupt teachers union.
    Good luck Ridgewood…
    Your gonna need it.

  5. Bad boards of education are like bad HOA’s.

  6. Goal #1 get rid of kaufman

  7. Pay up and shut up whitey.
