The whole village workforce should be doing that, because some of them are so out of shape. Some of them. Would never pass the fit for duty test.
Excuse me thumbs down, you better look in the mirror. Thumbs up all day long baby 25% of the work with fail especially some of the supervise you see what kind of shape the rain. Oh my God terrible. Very unhealthy.
I’m sure this elderly shut-in who posts angry comments here all day, every day, is the paragon of health.
Nice work RPD. I think is invaluable to have the RPD out in the community with our young people so our young people can identify with them and not feel uncomfortable reaching out if necessary. A connection made at an event like this could be a future lifesaver. If we see humanize our police as older siblings and friends parents, it’s so helpful. So thanks RPD!
Thank you RPD!. Being out and about with community activities is paramount.
Frequent readers of the blog know the RW crew often posts information about their regattas and this annual event. RW crew is not funded by RHS. It is run by crew families . Coaches, equipment, transportation and other significant costs are covered by the families of the boys and girls who compete. It is an expensive undertaking for parents but the experience for the students is awesome. Hopefully one day, the district will look beyond the usual high profile sports (esp. since they now have no field to play on) and better support RW Crew and other clubs and teams.
Hey, we speak the truth, I know sometimes the truth hurts, but you know what maybe the village should send everybody for a fit for duty. It just might save their life.
What they should do is have a full rotation of employees work on the back of the garbage trucks, doing sanitation, recycling, yard waste, then you’ll get your work out put on your sneakers see kind of shape your end. I guarantee 95% of the employees could not do it do sanitation recycling every day , Those guys and women who hang on a back of a truck doing that job deserves a real big perk.
