This can’t be a surprise…the kids don’t wear masks.
And not everyone will get the vaccine…
My family will stay remote until such time that the BOE actually addresses this issue rather than just putting out almost daily letters saying what we all know. To date, I count at least 115 cases amongst all the public schools and most recently more than 2 cases at some schools with unknown origins, which by definition should cause a new closure at those schools. With almost 40 of these recent cases occurring while the schools were actually closed should tell all that the virus is aggressively here in Ridgewood and without testing required for all staff and students prior to reentry into the school’s buildings we are just playing Russian Roulette. A negative COVID test is not an infringement of one’s rights, it is to protect the health, safety, and yes the lives of our families.
Why don’t they just keep the schools closed until February and go from there. This is ridiculous open the schools for two weeks close the school for two weeks back-and-forth is not working.
The BoE deserves credit for trying to keep the schools open- but the time has come to throw in the towel. It just isn’t worth it. Again, kudos to the BoE, but let’s get on with it.
Yeah.
I’m hiding from life in my house too.
Call it a wrap.
Come back in September.
Until then it’s just playing make believe.
We have become such a weak country.
It’s no wonder we voted in a Socialist/Marxist in the hopes that government will take care of us and tell us what to do.
Open schools full time and stop destroying our kids education.
I would send my kids back to school. But the problem is kids to school they are sick. Same old shit. If your kid is sick get them home. And if you are sick do not go to work and get everybody else sick.
Bergen County SS schools closed till March
Lesson to be learned from a neighboring town and its school district with its children now hospitalized because of the virus. https://patch.com/new-jersey/wyckoff/ramapo-high-remains-virtual-district-pauses-next-restart-phase
This has nothing to do with Covid. This has to do with parents not doing their job. If some of you stop sending your kids to school even with the regular virus things would be OK. But you nitwit parents that send your kids to school sick get other kids sick. And then they bring the germs home and make us all sick. If you are sick stay the hell home. Some of these parents are ass kissers , Or so scared to call into work sick, please what a joke. That’s what sick time is for, jerks. Sick time is to be used when you’re sick. Not to let it build up. Amazing
