Ridgewood NJ, the American Legion Post 53 will host a Memorial Day service at Van Neste Park on Monday.
Officials from the organization said the service will honor “those service men and women who made [the] ultimate sacrifice in the service of our nations armed forces.”
The service will begin at 11 a.m., and is open to the public. As in past years if it rains, the service will instead be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, officials said.
This event follows the placing of Memorial Day flags at grave sites of veterans on May 8 at Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood.
