Ridgewood NJ, here is a video of Village Council Candidate Jeff Voigt, regarding his views on the high density issue. Jeff’s perspective is thoughtful and I believe reflective of how many of us see it.The video was filmed by resident Dana Glazer .

It’s so important that people understand what is at stake here and how important it is for all of us to be present at Ridgewood High School on the night of March 23rd for the vote on this issue.

  1. He’s very brave. He’s very right. He’s not playing the political “say what people want to hear” game. He’s honestly looking at this data and revisiting it to show that it is skewed- and that’s putting it nicely.
I hope he can stick it this election once the developers get ahold of him. He’s definitely what we need.
Frankly him and Walsh are the only ones I can see that make any sense. And a couple of these other people are dead silent. What gives.

  2. 11:56am – agreed that Walsh and Jeff are the only two who will truly represent the public, but there is a 3rd seat and someone is going to get that for next 4 years. If that person is like today’s amigos in 2 years they can again have their 3-2 majority.
    Ugh..

  3. After last night’s planning board meeting, there may be FIVE projects going on at the same time. Our planning board has negotiated a deal with Valley Hospital that basically gives them everything they wanted. The court has mandated the PB to complete public hearing on this deal by April 7th. Please mark your calendars for March 30th & 31st, Aprl 4,5.7th. Remember, the overdevelopement in the H-zone leads to sympathetic zoning everywhere else!

  4. Garage was a major Signal of Weakness that Valley drove a sherman tank thru. Its a loose loose we got screwed deal

  5. I’d like to hear from some of the loyal homeowners who stuck it out near the valley hospital and on/off Lynwood avenue….of all things..A massive non confirming Garage..has a ring to it..no less was signaled with cannon fire as open for business by our mayor and his crack team.Incredible blundering…

  6. Where do Jeff and Ramon stand on Valley ?

  7. Ramon is an outstanding third candidate.
