Ridgewood NJ, according to the Village Manager Keith Kazmark , Ridgewood Water broke ground overnight on the temporary booster station and main installation to help better distribute water to the area off the upper part of West Glen Avenue. This project will benefit the residents who experienced low pressure earlier this year in Midland Park, Ridgewood and a small area of Wyckoff. The entire project should be complete by early spring just as water usage will increase again.

On Saturday September 21st, Ridgewood Water issued a precautionary boil water advisory for Midland Park and parts of Ridgewood and Wyckoff. Midland Park residents were accused of over-watering lawns and now they admit a problem with a dilapidated infrastructure?

  1. Inadequate infrastructure is more like it.

  2. The new motto at Village Hall is: “It’s NEVER our fault.”

    1. New as in when? Mid-20th century?

  3. Why must Ridgewood residents comply with the archiac watering schedule while Midland Park and Wyckoff give us the big middle finger and water whenever they want. Thats BS and we should charge those towns extra for their water service

    1. That’s entirely false. Ridgewood Water also neglects the appearance of its properties in Midland Park and Wyckoff. Additionally, if you choose to do proper research you will find that both Midland Park and Wyckoff recently passed resolutions allowing them to deputize Ridgewood employees with watering enforcement in those municipalities. Any other questions?

      1. I think it would be appropriate for Ridgewood water to ‘help’ Midland Park and Wyckoff by building hundreds of units of affordable housing on the various tracts of land the water co owns.. Then you wouldn’t be able enjoy the appearance of brand new shiny apartments.. thanks for bringing this to my attention.

    2. Because we are RICH and STUPID

  4. This is just another in a long list of reasons to SELL the utility. We are a Village and a community, not a water utility. We don’t supply natural gas, electricity, or cell service. We should exit trash pick-up as well.

    1. So wrong. Outsourcing and selling make the bottom line the only concern.

  5. Deputize my ass, you’re really open the doors for legal problems. I don’t want anyone on my property.

  6. Whatever happened to that council member from Midlandpark that was for the major lawsuit against Ridgewood water. Doesn’t he have a position in the villager Ridgewood at some kind of supervision level. We find that very interesting don’t we?

  7. Is another puppet
