Ridgewood Ladies!!!
Did you know??? Ridgewood has a Women’s Summer Softball League! The League has been around for over 25 years. However, our membership has begun to decline. Our League is a ton of fun and not only do you get to get out of the house and have a night that revolves around YOU being the star athlete (as opposed to your child!) but you also get to meet an amazing group of women! The camaraderie amongst the players is off the charts and we have competitive games full of laughter and respect.
While the teams have been based on the elementary school neighborhood in the past, we are looking to move away from this and become simply a Ridgewood community-based league and we are hoping to increase participation from our current 4 teams back up to 6 teams.
THEREFORE, we are looking for any Ridgewood women 25 years or older (no matter where you live) to join our Ridge team and our HOT team (Hawes Orchard and Travell- one team which we hope to split into two or three teams). You do not have to a child in the elementary schools. You do not have to children at all. You just need to live in Ridgewood and be 25 years old or older.
Our season runs from June 24th- August 29th. Games are played one night per week at 6pm. Most games are Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday night. There may be an occasional Monday night (very rare). You do not need to commit to every game, every week but we are looking for players that can make a strong commitment (at least 4-5 games) to showing up and playing with the Ridge or HOT team. Games are officiated by certified adult umpires. We have league insurance and we are registered with ASA softball. We are a legit league. Games are competitive and we are looking for players with some softball experience but you do not have to be a college level player!

I didn’t realize so many lesbians & trannies infested Ridgewood. Now I know why the downtown area is so filthy & the village so screwed up.
