  1. Why bother arresting him? Some judge will just release him. That’s what happened to four men from Queens who recently broke into a house in Paramus. The police arrested them only to have a judge release them less than 24 hrs later. According to the police ICE would have been interested in them. Oh well, that’s the NJ criminal justice system for you. We’re just too soft on criminals and they know it.

    1. Your neighbors are under the belief that these men were dealt a bad hand and (unless they don’t take any of their stuff) deserve a fresh chance.

      1. No, your neighbors are under the belief they live in America, where the justice system is there first and foremost to protect the innocent, thus the “innocent until proven guilty” thing, and no punishment until convicted thing.

What’s that phrase I hear so often? Oh yeah… “Love it or Leave it”.

        1. No.
Your neighbors in RW don’t believe in justice unless it is to “social” kind…

  2. $70 I know it’s wrong but we all now what the hell is a judge going to do to these individuals. It cost more money to put them through the system, can you imagine what it’s costing with all the paperwork through the courts thousands on top of thousands. Give me a few days and community service to pick up litter all around the Paterson falls.

  3. Policing is now just like sport fishing… Catch and Release.
