  3. This is wonderful news all around. Nastiness did not win, in spite of the harassing and bullying by Dan Creed, Rurik Halaby, James Morgan, Jeanne Thiesen, Stacey Loscslzo, Denise Lima , douchebag Voigt, and other shit slingers. Very proud of all the winners.

  4. Pam Perron — if you decide to run for office again, PLEASE (!!) do not litter the lawns of our Village with your terrible-looking political signs (especially during a pandemic… lawn space should be reserved for our health care heroes!). Thank you kindly!

  5. Yes it’s amazing how some of these political officials leave all the posters laying around. Well guess what Someone should be going around to pick it up and bring it to your house and throw it in your driveway.

  6. The lawn signs were a big mistake

  7. It’s amazing what the council and mayor finds throughout the village. Especially on social media. Think before you rant Like a total imbecile.

  9. School budget voted down lets see if there is some sanity in the middle of a crisis. We need some REAL cuts to the out of control spending.

  10. I think most of us feel that it’s time to cut ties with the water department. It should be separated all together from the village it’s a utility. All the employees that work for the water department should be changed over to the water utility employees. Why is this so hard.

  11. Why would the budget get voted down? It makes no sense. Only answer would be that people confused it for the referendum that is about to be scrapped by the new members of the school board.

Yes Pam, next time you run DO NOT use the Campaign Strategy and Tactics that were SUCCESSFUL in getting you ELECTED!
    .
Instead, listen to Jon Cantor and the other the speech and politics police…

  16. If there’s going to be cuts it’s time for management to go first especially in the water department. Way too many employees. Second the fire dept can cut a few.

She did not get elected because of your campaign strategy of using lawn signs or emailing to unauthorized email lists or paying hundreds of dollars to your friend for logo design from Pam’s campaign account.
She got elected because someone screwed up one specific thing on the other side of the campaign. Look at the margin and then look at the margin for other candidates.

  18. Ridgewood, the County and the State need to start considering furloughs of public employees and prohibiting overtime in all departments. How are governments going to fund the massive shortfall in sales, income and gas tax revenues? I am sorry but paying people that are non-essential, salary-benefits and pensions is just not right when so many people are out of work.

  19. Start with the cops and FD that should have been disbanded years ago….

  20. Easy fix is to make Engine 31 at 311 West Glen Ave all volunteer. Why is it staffed 24/7 with professional firefighters when the Main Firehouse is less than a mile away on East Glen.?

They can easily move their emergency operations up the hill if the main firehouse is flooded. No need for fill time paid firefighters in the interim, it’s just a waste of taxpayer funds.

  21. Great Idea Charlie Kime, stop by the Firehouse and pick up an application to become a Volunteer. Once you pass the psychological exam (Ha Ha Ha I bet you can’t) and go to the Academy and complete Firefighter training (not likely) then as a Volunteer you can spearhead turning Engine Company 31 into a Volunteer Building. If your not willing to do that then shut the fuck up.

  22. The anti-fireman poster could be Charlie Kime but it could also be Dan Creed. He is outspoken against our paid fire department. So glad he got trounced in the election.

  23. Sounds like anti-taxpayer theft, not anti-firefighters… cut your BS. The days of redundancy like staffing Engine 31 with paid professional firefighters 24/7 are over. We can’t raise property taxes 10% in 2021 to pay fur all this crap. Making it all volunteer is easy to do and will save us all money that’s just wasted today for no reason other than union greed.

  24. Just ask the guy calling for volunteers if he’s a volunteer He’s one of the social elite, he doesn’t do menial work like firefighters, he’s way above that. He wants you peasants to volunteer so he can save a few $$$$ on his tax bill. He even admits that’s what he wants, and I quote…..

“. Making it all volunteer is easy to do and will save us all money that’s just wasted today for no reason other than union greed.”.

Funny he wants someone else to volunteer so he can save money.

  25. Did you love it when Cris Kaufman said the other night that serving on the BOE is a thankless job. Yep. He said that. Feel free to step down. You have been a massive disappointment
