Ridgewood NJ, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is now reporting a second probable case of monkeypox in New Jersey.

This comes as the CDC has opened an emergency center in response to the outbreak, which will be used to deal with the outbreak response from the government, as well as non-government agencies’ response. The facility was already supporting the CDC’s reaction to the pandemic.

And of course Health officials are also expanding the group of people recommended to get vaccinated against the virus.  As Baseball sage Yogi Berra once said ,”Déjà vu all over again” .

The World Health Organization (WHO) has blamed sex , spelling out the sexual transmission component  of a monkeypox outbreak that has affected hundreds of people—mostly men who have sex with men—in at least 27 countries outside of Africa, hummm where have I heard that before .
