  1. ooooooohhhhh rain.

Mask up and hide in the basement.

  2. If only we had a Zoom option…

  3. Seriously. Cancelled because it might rain? Cancelled because we might lose power? A meteor might strike the earth. Wild dogs might run through the building. Come on Mayor Knudsen. What agenda item made you decide to cancel. Let’s have some of that transparency you are always touting.

  4. Cancelled because of potential flooding at Village Hall. I drove by today and all of the Village vehicles had been moved to higher ground and the flood gates were being installed at the lower level doors. If you are newer to the Village, you may not realize the a few years ago, we were stupid enough to spend millions and extend the Village Hall into an active flood plain. So cancelling tonight’s meeting is a pre-emptive move should the areas flood .

  5. I’ll guess I have to watch the BoE meeting again.

  6. Did the village emergency services or fire department ever buy a small utility boat for storms like this.

  7. Some decades ago the brook and river flooded all the time and kids went down the streets in canoes and rowboats. Truth.

  8. That is such a classic picture!

  9. I’ll just wait here holding my breath waiting for the first commenters to admit, maybe, they might have been wrong making fun of the maybe rational idea not to have a meeting tonight.
