Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police Department issued a summons late Saturday afternoon, April 19, following a single-vehicle crash on John Street involving a Ford Edge SUV that collided with a large shade tree.
According to officials, the driver — the sole occupant of the vehicle — reported no injuries at the scene. The vehicle sustained front-end damage but did not require EMS transport.
Firefighters Mitigate Fluid Spill Following Crash
Members of the Ridgewood Fire Department (FMBA Local 47) responded to assist with a minor fluid spill resulting from the crash. The vehicle was later removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and one summons was issued by Ridgewood PD’s Patrol Division. No other vehicles were involved, and no road closures were reported.
The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of staying alert while driving, even on quiet residential streets like John Street.
