On December 3rd, Closter Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Corps (CVARC) was requested for a sick person. When the Alpine Police officers Matthew Gough and Justin Fierro arrived on scene, they found the patient unresponsive and started CPR. Closter Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Corps members arrived shortly thereafter and assumed patient care. The patient was transported to Englewood hospital and they were released from the hospital a few days later. The hard work of the Alpine Police officers and the members of CVARC allowed the patient to be home for the holidays.
