Ridgewood NJ, according to the Village Manager Keith Kazmark,  the pavilion at Habernickel Park is nearing completion. This gathering space in the park will provide shelter from both sun and rain. The Village manager went on in a Facebook post saying , “We already have inquiries from community groups and residents alike as to when it will be open to the public. Expect a grand opening this May!”

In march  of 2024, Village Manager Keith Kazmark emphatically stated that Healthbarn USA will not have free access to the proposed covered pavilion at Habernickel Park. Green Acres laws prohibit such an arrangement said Kazmark. His remarks were made during a Wednesday, March 6th Village Council Work Session. The Village Manager said that in all likelihood, if Healthbarn USA should desire to use the planned facility, the terms of their existing lease with the Village will be renegotiated.

But in February of that same year, , during a  Village Council Budget Meeting, Parks & Recreation Director Nancy Bigos stated publicly that once the pavilion is in place at Habernickel, and despite it having been fully funded by Ridgewood’s taxpayers, Healthbarn USA (a privately owned business) will be authorized to reserve the pavilion regularly for its own (commercial) use without charge.

  4. Do not let Healthbarn lady push you out like she did a brownie leader and her troop. Facts no matter what KK says.

    1. Stand your ground

  5. Big changes are happening

    1. Was it ever revealed at a council meeting if those expensive round bottom planters in center of town, that look like half a “Humpty Dumpty shape”😭 😊 were a donation or another cost to taxpayers in the budget?

      1. bro just took me back 30 years with that humpty dumpty reference

      2. They should have been a vendor donation

        Cost is $20k

    2. Hopefully in favor of the town. Because BIG changes have happened and they are destroying not helping. So not sure if this is changes for the tax payers and those that care or just more expenses and 1/2 million dollar favors
