The Ridgewood Board of Education will Hold a Regular Public Meeting: 7:00PM Monday February 12th

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Board of Education will hold a regular public Meeting: 7:00PM, Monday February 12th at the Ed Center – 3rd Floor 49 Cottage Place.

The public can view, listen, and comment during the public comment period of the meeting:

  • In-person attendance at the Education Center
  • Zoom from a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android device
  • Use the “raise hand” button to make a comment
  • Phone at: 646-558-8656
  • Meeting ID 870 1302 7741
  • Press *9 to make a comment

The public can also watch from home via the BOE Webcast on the district website or on Fios Channel 33.

I think parents should start demanding that the Board of Ed go back to natural grass as they are in a dill pickle over the flooding and it is a complete waste of tax dollars, even if they have flood insurance to recreate another doomed turf field. Isn’t the definition of insanity continuing to do the same thing over and over again. If anyone can learn, the BOE can.

    1. Natural grass will also sustain damage from flooding in a flood zone. Which costs more to remediate?

    1. Can you share the memo? We didn’t see anything disrespectful.

      1. Agree, nothing disrespectful about his memo. However, if you read between the lines I suspect that disrespectful parents were telling him how to do his job. Honestly, he’s right. If your kid has mental health issues the day to day stress is not the problem. That’s just life. Ask any professional, first step is to get them off social media and you may see a big difference. Pro Tip: No cell phones or smart watches until 9th grade!
