The Stop & Shop on Franklin Avenue Gets a New Look in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, the Stop & Shop on Franklin Avenue has a new look , featuring a brighter look and a larger selection. To celebrate the long overdue updated space, the store held a ribbon-cutting ceremony , which was attended by Mayor Susan Knudsen.

The remodeled store includes expanded produce, frozen, dairy and grocery departments; an upgraded bakery and deli department, and front-end with a new dual-lane register. Other features include expanded international d ethnic offerings, such as Polish, Middle Eastern, Asian and Baltic products, and an updated pharmacy with a new immunization room and a patient-direct communications system for prescription retrieval.

    1. Shop-Rite is still the best supermarket chain.
      Worth the drive to Wyckoff, Ramsey or even Fair Lawn.

  4. I saw the Grand Reopening signs. Stopped in for a prescription and looked around. Not much changed. Looks the same

  7. That’s all well I’m good that they did their repairs which they should. But the store is too small. In the parking lot is way too small. The one on 17 that closed that was a nice store bank, lotta parking. Anyone know what’s going into that Kmart shopping center out on 17.
