    1. 35 out of 866 is pretty damn good.

      1. Sorry but there are less than 400 high schools in New Jersey.

I think the point lost here is that 40 years ago RHS would have been in the top 5.

        1. that is because 40 years ago they ranked on test scores. The US News “adjusts” for subjective things that they (the US News) feels are important, such as how many black students attend and other PC bull.

  2. Ranked 35th in a small state like NJ is nothing to be proud of. And don’t forget majority of kids use tutoring to get those “amazing” grades which realistically make that 35 more like 135 when put on same level with the rest of schools.
BUT, if DEI bs is considered when doing this ranking, then I don’t really care if we rank last. ONLY academics should count.

  3. Ridgewood is a joke.
A hollow facade of past greatness.

  4. The high school administration does not focus on academics.

They only focus on late start and press coverage.

    Academic rankings are tanking!!

  5. When staff is being appointed based on who they know, and not based on their qualifications, what else can you expect??
