Wyckoff NJ, Social media sensation and private chef Meredith Hayden, better known as the creator of TikTok’s popular Wishbone Kitchen, has a new reason to celebrate. The 28-year-old food influencer, originally from Wyckoff, NJ, recently purchased a stunning $2.875 million home in the Hamptons. Hayden shared the journey with her followers, posting a series of heartfelt videos documenting the milestone.
From Wyckoff to Water Mill
In a candid TikTok video, Hayden reminisced about her journey. She grew up in Wyckoff, famously the hometown of the Jonas Brothers, before attending college and working at Conde Nast in New York City. However, minimum-wage pay led her to pursue private chef gigs, eventually cooking for a family that spent time in NYC and the Hamptons. Her culinary career took off on TikTok, where her Wishbone Kitchen content gained a massive following.
A Dream Home in the Hamptons
Hayden discovered the Water Mill, NY, home while shooting for her upcoming cookbook in the Hamptons this past June.
“I came across this house back in June during my cookbook shoot, went to see it in person, and absolutely fell in love,” Hayden shared with her audience.
The property—a barn conversion—caught her eye instantly. She documented the moment she visited the home with her parents and her beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Millie. Hayden credits her parents for giving her the final confidence to make the purchase, joking, “I couldn’t possibly buy a house without their stamp of approval.”
A Family Affair
Before finalizing the deal, Hayden returned to the house with her mom, dad, and Millie to celebrate. In a heartfelt clip, she proudly showed off the picturesque property to her parents, calling it a dream come true.

That’s what I want to know. I expected this to be about some smoke show cooking in yoga pants or something, but instead it’s a just an unassuming monotonous mid chick (at best) demonstrating basic cooking skills.
