That’s from two classes, junior and senior. So out of 900 students, only 220 are taking three AP classes, while the school offers over 27.
Why?
huh…read it again….
Because the advisors tell them that three is excessive and the colleges only look for two. At least that’s what my kid was told. So these students are the ones who didn’t follow directions. Nice.
More kids are taking AP’s you only get this distinction if you get a 3 or higher and only if you have taken at least 3 exams or 5 exams. So if you just took 1 or 2 you are not even in the running and if you do poorly on an exam it lowers your average so you don’t qualify.
