Ridgewood NJ , the Attached please find a picture of a typical Saturday at BF. middle school. Students from across the county participating in track and field events OUTSIDE.  Hundreds of kids use the field on a regular basis .

Valley construction will involve noise , and dust

Whats will be the impact on out door activities at  Middle school during the long construction phase at Valley Hospital

  1. Valley is counting on dust and noise. They will be future patients

  2. Construction generally doesn’t happen on Saturdays.
So to answer your question…..zero impact on typical Saturday at BF.
Do you understand this type of hysteria makes you lose credibility?

  3. RT- “generally” not on Saturdays. But, did you ever see the use the track and field get during a normal school day ? And that’s “reality.” Wake up !

  4. Valley sure complained about possibly too much noise from Teterboro changing of route. But residents concerned about noise and dust from a big six year construction project. We are considered nonsensical and hysteric.

    Oh yes.

  5. Ridgewood Taxpayer… It isn’t clear in the documents… also people should look at point 13 on p5 of this link… https://www.ridgewoodnj.net/images/Ridgewood/BoardsAndCommittees/ValleyHospExhibits/2016-Ex_A_17_List_of_Conditions-2016-03-23.pdf ….unfortunately this is out of bounds in the public commentary for the hearings as construction protocols not in the amended plan

  6. Ridgewood Taxpayer – outdoor activities don’t only happen on Saturdays. And Valley supporters are the last bunch that should bring up credibility.

  7. Did anyone that replied to my initial comment read the article?
“Attached please find a picture of a typical Saturday at BF”

  8. I replied the latest proposal does not have construction protocols for the weekend and the attachment indicated the possibility of some Sunday construction. Point 12 has apparently not been detailed yet. Which means at this time until it is stated otherwise, no weekend construction is not a forgone conclusion. The amended plan does have plans for noise abatement, air monitoring etc. but nothing about weekend construction. A new list of conditions will hopefully spell this out.

  9. RT- I did. Read my original comment.

  10. They said they wouldn’t work on SUNDAYS generally. They did not make that promise about Saturday.

  11. Fast Eddie outsmarted hisself….or maybe he didn’t?..

  12. don’t you get it valley doesn’t care. they are a profit center and that is it.
