Ridgewood NJ, Village Hall and all Village Departments will be closed on February 12th and February 15th in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday and Presidents’ Day. There will be no garbage or recycling pickups on these days, and the Recycling Center will be closed. The Recycling Center will be open on Saturday, February 13th. All Village offices and Departments will re-open on February 16th.
We might be better off if it remained closed permanently.
Or just remain closed just long enough for the 3 Amigos to be gone.
Nothing good ever seems to come from there anyway.
I don’t understand why unions still get Lincoln and Washington’s birthday off. Plus Presidents Day.
Many years ago Presidents day was created and schools and some businesses no longer had 2 separate days off.
Presidents Day was celebrated instead.
Presidents’ Day was supposed to represent Lincoln’s and Washington’s birthday because they were so close together–not all presidents. Now they get all three?
Sadly these are all valid comments …less parking tickets..that’s a plus,,,reaching for a thread of hope,…There are some good people in our government beaten down for sure,,,
