Ridgewood NJ, according to the Village Manager Keith Kazmark, Ridgewood is on the cutting edge when it comes to GIS technology and infrastructure management, especially on the Ridgewood Water side. Now, we plan to take it across departments and maximize this powerful tool.

Neil Gallone, the Village of Ridgewood GIS manager presented the technology and its applications on Monday morning at the Village Directors meeting!

A geographic information system (GIS) is a system that creates, manages, analyzes, and maps all types of data. GIS connects data to a map, integrating location data (where things are) with all types of descriptive information (what things are like there). This provides a foundation for mapping and analysis that is used in science and almost every industry. GIS helps users understand patterns, relationships, and geographic context. The benefits include improved communication and efficiency as well as better management and decision making.

  1. Who takes more pics of himself, Whistleblower Guy or Jimmy Tedesco ?

  2. “Now, we plan to take it across departments and maximize this powerful tool.”

Considering how awful the water is in Ridgewood, I think we can assume that statement is a direct threat to residents.

  3. Take what a crossed into each department

  4. More bull riding.

  5. See, this is the problem right away the cutting edge, how about going back to basic skills and you don’t need to be on the cutting edge, they just maybe we can get things done. Cut out old is Rick type. Because the village can’t afford to be on the cutting edge they don’t have the money, we are spending money on things we don’t need, we need to spend money on basic necessities, like, employees, tools, work trucks, repairing village buildings that are falling through their ass,

    1. The recent Library upgrade was real money spent for real benefits for all Age Groups. Especially for the first floor reorganization from periodicals to after school study and generally more visibility of what is in there beyond stacks of last two weeks of business and other lifestyle magazines . The students
Seem to be in a quieter zone after the rebuild . Good Luck VOR Library teams .

      They are always helpful ..
