Ridgewood NJ, Village Manager Keith Kazmark stated and an email, “Three to five inches of rain are possible this afternoon into Wednesday morning, with much of the rain falling in a three-to-six-hour period, according to the National Weather Service. ”

“Residents of the Village who live near the Ho-Ho-Kus Brook or the Saddle River are encouraged to monitor local reports for weather conditions and flood gauges.”

“If you have not already done so, we encourage all residents to sign up for the Village’s Emergency Alert Notifications. The Emergency Alert System allows the Village Office of Emergency Management, Ridgewood Police Department, Ridgewood Fire Department and Ridgewood Water to communicate emergency information to residents through Reverse 911 telephone calls, emails and text messages.”

“The Village of Ridgewood also suggest that residents maintain situational awareness of potential flooding in their area by subscribing to WaterAlerts, a free mobile and desktop service of the U.S. Geological Survey, which allows you to choose local rivers and streams, set thresholds, and receive instant alerts when water levels are nearing flood stage.”

“Finally, another good resource is the National Water Prediction Service, which allows real-time monitoring of river flows. (Zoom in on the map.)”

    1. Don’t worry Clay, Karen and the soccer bunnies will help him go retrieve it and bring it back up from Lodi. He shouldn’t have to do it alone because, as we all know, it takes a ridgewood village.

  3. Flood Plain will probably flood.

  7. Yeah, that was funny last time when everything flooded, village vehicles sitting in the middle of the parking lot flooded, real smart. That person should’ve been fired. Immediately. Everyone knew a storm was coming. How stupid can you be there? No reason that I could not be out of there, who was in charge? Someone wasn’t doing their job not performing well.
