Montvale NJ, an upstate New York doctor who was in the “right place at the right time” when he revived a 3-year-old boy who was drowning at a hotel pool in Montvale, police said.
Dr. John Blundell gave the boy who was visiting from New York City with his family CPR Saturday after a relative pulled the tot from the shallow end of a pool at the Courtyard by Marriott in Montvale, police said.
Blundell, who specializes in internal medicine at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and was visiting the Garden State from Niagara Falls, managed to revive the unidentified boy just before paramedics and other officers got to the scene, police said.
Police in Montvale, N.J. said Dr. John Blundell was in the “right place at the right time” after the child was found by a relative, floating in the shallow end of a pool at a Courtyard by Marriott hotel. Blundell, who was visiting from New York City with his family, performed CPR on the little boy after the relative had pulled him from the water.
