Washington DC, President-elect Donald Trump survived two assassination attempts during last year’s campaign, and a majority of voters are worried he won’t be safe at Monday’s inauguration.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters are concerned about Trump’s safety, including 31% who are Very Concerned. Forty-one percent (41%) aren’t concerned, including 26% who say they’re Not At All Concerned about the president-elect’s safety. Eight years ago, before Trump’s first inauguration, 51% were concerned about his safety. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
