Ridgewood NJ, as America’s cities experience a surge of criminal violence, less than a quarter of voters trust the media to report the facts about crime.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 24% of Likely U.S. Voters believe most of the news media report fairly and accurately about the problem of crime in America. Sixty percent (60%) say the media don’t report fairly and accurately about crime, and 15% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

  1. There is a reason the media does not report the ethnicity of criminals..
When 12 percent of the population commits over 50 percent of the crimes, the facts diminish the narrative they are trying to promote.
This should come as no surprise.

  2. If you voted thumbs down you’re part of the problem.
Do tell us who burned down the cities all summer. The video doesn’t lie.
Nothing like a flat screen TV from looting an store to make up for a bad cop.
