Waldwick NJ, a 64-year-old Waldwick woman has been arrested and charged with theft following an investigation into stolen package deliveries at The Station Apartments, police said.
Investigation Leads to Arrest
According to Waldwick Police Lt. Troy E. Seifert, officers began investigating reports of missing deliveries from 41 West Prospect St. on Feb. 3. Detective T.J. Palaia identified Marialyse Debel as the suspected thief, leading to her arrest on Wednesday, Feb. 12 outside her home.
Debel’s Criminal History
This isn’t Debel’s first run-in with the law. She has a prior arrest for arson in Midland Park (Sept. 2024) and multiple DUI arrests in Ramsey and Glen Rock, police confirmed.

Debel remains in custody pending further legal action.
