Whose responsibility is it to empty the cans in the Ridgewood parks?

Ridgewood NJ,  This garbage can is overflowing with dog-poop that has been carefully bagged by the responsible owners.  But the can is totally jammed.

The Dunham Trail which runs between Grove Street and Spring Avenue. It seems dog owners and dogs always get such a bad rap from the haters in town……but here you have a clear example that the owners are absolutely trying their best to pick up all the poop, even from a woodsy nature trail, yet no one empties the garbage can.

Whose responsibility is it to empty the cans in the Village parks?

  1. Thank you to the dog owners who are so responsible. Now please, can someone empty this can??? I see the same thing all around town at the parks. Overflowing with water bottles and poop bags and food garbage. Disgusting. Tim Cronin???

  2. This can used to be emptied regularly. Not sure what happened. On another note, some private individual or maybe the retirement home on Van Dien puts a can out on the PSEG easement on the other side of the brook and empties it regularly. Thanks to whoever does that!

  3. This photo is a perfect metaphor for all the sh*t bags left behind by Pucciarelli, Aronsohn, the Hawk, and Bert. The new council is cleaning up nicely. Soon the can will be empty. And hopefully soon Aronsohn and Pucciarelli will be indicted.

  4. Laziness by the village and the acting manager. There is no excuse.

  5. These cans are a microcosm of today’s citizen character. What type of person would continue to pile up more garbage on a can instead of taking pride in their community, & simply bring THEIR garbage home.
