On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Ridgewood’s West Side Presbyterian Church will transform into a hub of instrumental fireworks as three of the world’s most sought-after young virtuosos take the stage for “The Virtuoso Opera Fantasy.”
A Program of Operatic Brilliance
This isn’t your average chamber recital. “The Virtuoso Opera Fantasy” celebrates the “greatest hits” of the operatic world, reimagined as dazzling showpieces for violin, cello, and piano.
The program features iconic melodies from Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Bizet’s Carmen, alongside masterworks by Beethoven, Wagner, Liszt, Massenet, and Mendelssohn. From soulful arias to finger-blurring technical feats, the concert is designed to showcase how opera has influenced instrumental music for centuries.
