Ridgewood NJ, The curtain is rising on a major milestone in Bergen County! On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the Village of Ridgewood Council officially presented a Proclamation to the producers of RHS Jamboree, recognizing eight decades of community spirit, theatrical flair, and life-changing philanthropy.
Producers Janet Holmes, Patrick Holmes, Gregory Warden, and Sara Newman accepted the honor on behalf of the hundreds of volunteers who make this annual tradition possible. With the 80th-anniversary show, “Lights, Camera, Jamboree!”, just weeks away, the village is officially gearing up for a town-wide celebration.
A $2 Million Legacy of Giving
Read by Deputy Mayor Pamela Perron, the proclamation highlighted the staggering impact of this all-volunteer musical revue. In just the past 15 years, RHS Jamboree has raised and distributed over $2 million in need-based scholarships for graduating Ridgewood High School seniors.
This incredible feat is fueled by:
-
Dedicated Parents: Current RHS parents who spend months rehearsing and building sets.
-
Jamboree Alumni: Former participants who return year after year to support the mission.
-
Student Volunteers: Lending their time to ensure the next generation can afford their college dreams.
-
Local Sponsors: Businesses that help turn ticket sales into tuition checks.
Save the Dates: Jamboree Days 2026
To honor this legacy, the Village Council has officially proclaimed February 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2026 as “Jamboree Days” in Ridgewood.
This year’s theme, “Celebrating screens, scenes, and scholarship dreams,” promises to be a cinematic journey through pop culture history, all while funding the academic futures of RHS students.

Boy or boy this is some crew., The mayor, the council, the village manager, and now the director of engineering and Dpw is all one. Oh yes, now everyone else is just a puppet. Good luck holding onto the string that’s controlling you.
So very true. Their people are in charge that’s the future. The parties of everyone. Are over. Everyone better watch your ass because they’re watching everyone. No one is safe, and we mean no one. Get to work on time, The eyes are on you, no one has any friends anymore in that job. The are all troublemakers, stamp you right in the back, roll right over anyone. This is going to be interesting this year.
Let the games begin. We are done. Upper management is gonna implement a new beginning with employees with rotating work. Let’s get everybody into shape and we mean everyone. But your sneakers on everyone’s going to do sanitation, recycling, your own ways, it’s time to get in the shape.
