Lane closings planned at the Bayonne Bridge,
George Washington Bridge, Holland Tunnel

Lanes will be closed this weekend and/or next week at the George Washington Bridge, Holland Tunnel and Bayonne Bridge for ongoing construction and repair projects.

George Washington Bridge:
The Palisades Interstate Parkway southbound will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 17, through 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18.

Hudson Terrace at the bridge will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 17, through 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18.

Two lanes on the bridge’s upper level westbound side will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday, May 17, through 7 a.m. Saturday, May 18.

Two lanes on the bridge’s upper level eastbound side will be closed from midnight to 8 a.m. Saturday, May 18.

One lane on the bridge’s upper level westbound side will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.

The bridge’s lower level will be closed from 11 p.m. Saturday, May 18, through 10 a.m. Sunday, May 19, for the Gran Fondo cycling race.

Holland Tunnel:
One westbound lane in the tunnel will be closed during overnight hours from Sunday, May 19, through Thursday, May 23, from 11:59 p.m. each night through 5:30 a.m. the following morning. These closures are needed for ongoing tunnel repairs.

One eastbound lane in the tunnel will be closed during overnight hours from Sunday, May 19, through Thursday, May 23, from 11 p.m. each night through 5 a.m. the following morning. These closures are needed for ongoing tunnel repairs.
Bayonne Bridge:
The bridge will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday, May 17, and reopen by 8 a.m. Saturday, May 18, for ongoing construction activities.
One lane on the bridge’s northbound roadway (into Bayonne) and/or one lane on the bridge’s southbound roadway (into Staten Island) will be closed Saturday through Thursday, May 18 through May 23, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.


PATH:
PATH’s World Trade Center station will be closed this weekend, starting at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, May 18 through 5 a.m., Monday, May 20. Service on the Newark-World Trade Center line will terminate at Exchange Place during this period for tunnel repairs. New York Waterway ferry service is available for PATH weekend riders between Harborside Ferry Landing in Jersey City and the Brookfield Place Terminal in Lower Manhattan. Customers with SmartLink cards can have their fares deducted at ferry landings via hand-held readers. Non-SmartLink users will still need to use the PATH station to receive vouchers.
