Ridgewood NJ, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has activated its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to enhance the inter-agency response to the current investigation into cases of lung injury associated with e-cigarette product use, or vaping.

“CDC has made it a priority to find out what is causing this outbreak of e-cigarette or vaping-related injuries and deaths,” said CDC Director Robert Redfield, M.D. “Activation of CDC’s Emergency Operations Center allows us to enhance operations and provide additional support to CDC staff working to protect our Nation from this serious health threat.”

CDC’s activation of the EOC allows the agency to provide increased operational support for the response to meet the outbreak’s evolving challenges. Agency subject matter experts will continue to lead the CDC response with enhanced support from additional CDC and EOC staff.

CDC also continues to work closely with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to collect information about recent e-cigarette product use, or vaping, among patients and to test the substances or chemicals within e-cigarette products used by case patients.

While this investigation is ongoing, if individuals are concerned about these specific health risks, they should consider refraining from using e-cigarette or vaping products.

  1. In order for this investigation and the recent news stories to make sense, the term “Vaping” must be being used to include all equipment used to ingest drug-infused water vapor. Wise readers know this is where the FAKE NEWS nugget lies in the breathless “vaping death outbreak” story line that is currently putting food on the table for so-called news organizations all over the country. Because if the term “vaping” were being used a narrow way as to only include the FDA-approved drug-delivery device commonly referred to as “e-cigarettes”, there would be NO NEWS STORY AT ALL. Only when the term “vaping” is used in a much broader way, to include ALL equipment used ANYWHERE to ingest drug-infused water vapor IN ANY WAY, including NON-FDA-APPROVED (i.e., illegal) kits specifically designed to allow the user to use and abuse large quantities of the active ingredients in the horrifically strong modern variants of marijuana and hashish, can the fake news “vaping deaths” story be written and marketed in the way the corrupt news organizations prefer. Fools that they are, E-cigarette manufacturers must not be keeping up with their required annual “contributions” to the corrupt Democrat National Committee, or to AL Sharpton’s corrupt Rainbow PUSH organization.

  2. There are no “vaping deaths”… only illegal drug overdoses.
