“The United States of America is a nation of laws, and we cannot pick and choose which laws we want to follow,” said Doherty (R-23). “We shouldn’t let people who are breaking our laws obtain New Jersey driver’s licenses.
“Our state has reached the brink of insanity. We are squandering legislative time and resources on those who reside in New Jersey in violation of our immigration laws. New Jersey’s MVC should not waste one penny of the taxpayers’ money on non-citizens who have no respect for our country’s laws.”
Flip side. Collect fees and be able to document. Think outside your very small box! It’s not about rewarding.
They want driver license, then they should pay for their own insurance, now I’m hearing my car insurance will go up 300.00 a year to help pay for their insurance, not a far deal for us hard working Americans!
