Sen. McCain huddles once again with Democrats in an effort to limit free speech and intrench incumbents
Sen. McCain huddles with Dems on campaign finance reform
By Alexander Bolton – 05/16/12 05:00 AM ET
Sen. John McCain is talking with Democrats about a joint effort to require outside groups that have spent millions of dollars on this year’s elections to disclose their donors.
McCain (R-Ariz.), once Congress’s leading champion of campaign finance reform, has kept a low profile on the issue in recent years.
He raised the ire of many Republicans a decade ago for pushing comprehensive reform, and many Republicans still held it against him during his 2008 presidential campaign.
Disclosing donors does not in any way limit free speech, if you are giving money to a politician or party then you should proud of supporting this person unless you have something to hide. There is nothing wrong with campaign reform it does not bar free speech Mr. Bolton.
Unfortunately left wing lunatics hunt down and attack Republican donors.
Odd;y this does not happen to Democrat donors.
#2 you must be kidding it goes on for both sides.
#3 you are either naive or purposefully distorting the truth.
The regular, coordinated, organized (and even criminal and violent) attacks taken against Republican supporters and donors by the left is far, far more severe than any (rare) action taken against Democrat donors.
Face it.
The far left is violent, fanatical and has little to no regard for the law.
