Synopsis:
West Side Story is a reimagined version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. It takes the enticing story to the west side of northern Manhattan. Where two teenage gangs Jets and Sharks fight to establish their rule. Tony, the friend of Riff Jets leader and an ex-jets member meets Maria, sister of Sharks leader Bernardo in a club. They instantly fall in love with each other ignorant of fate already decided for them. Under the direction of Belgian director Ivo van Hove, this story will unfold itself in the most exciting way possible.
