Bayonne Police provided a description of a missing autistic male with special needs. The missing male was unreachable due to a dead cell phone. His last possible location, (Cherry Hill) was 100+ miles from home

New Jersey Transit Police Detectives and officers from Patrol Districts 2,5,6, and 7 combed the system. The search included a coordinated effort by our partner agency Bayonne PD. NJTPD Officers and dispatchers were able to pinpoint a possible NJ TRANSIT train the missing subject could be traveling on. The NJT train crew was contacted and confirmed the subject was on board. New Jersey Transit Police responded and safely reunited the subject with his mother. What a memorable way to begin this Autism Acceptance Month!
