Atlantic City NJ, more drama at the the Jersey Shore , the series by the same name aka 2.0 might not happen after all. MTV now says production has “paused.” and original cast member Angelina Pivarnick, claims the spin-off series is “cancelled.”
The rebellion began with the original cast was outraged when the series was announced in May 2022. “As a cast that took a chance with a network in need, we put our most vulnerable moments on television for the world to see,” the roommates said in a joint statement on social media.
Sounds to us like the gang from Jersey Shore 1 feels they created the concept and is looking to capitalize on Jersey Shore 2 financially .
MTV shot back and reportedly felt their reaction was “ungrateful” (via TMZ). Representatives from the network also claimed the reality star’s comments about the network being in trouble before Jersey Shore were untrue. They also said: “It’s disgusting they’d take a swipe at the network,” they concluded.
According to TMZ, multiple people connected to Jersey Shore 2.0 say production is currently “paused.” Additionally sources say “one of the only explanations to pull the plug so suddenly would be an issue with the cast, either they just don’t vibe, or there was a behavioral issue.”
Disgusting show. Does not represent me. I’ve lived in NJ my entire life and I don’t know anyone born in New Jersey like these low lifes and I don’t refer to New Jersey as “Joisey” like the sub culture New Yorkers who appear on Jersey Shore TV show.
Anytime I hear anyone say they live in “Joisey” I know they are a carpet bagger.
Such a loss. One more item of high class entertainment goes into the trash.
I hope they don’t do away with Rich and StupidHONJ or we’ll have nothing.
