Glen Rock NJ, on Friday June 28th at 1:07 PM – A resident on the 800 block of Maple Avenue reported finding an intact rifle round, with no shell casing in their driveway. No damage was found on or around the complainant’s property nor was there any other form of suspicious activity that they were aware of. The rifle round was collected by a Glen Rock investigating officer and forwarded to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department BCI unit for analysis. A further investigation is pending when the results are received.

This does not make sense. How is the cartridge intact if it doesn’t have a case, which would mean it is only the bullet and not the rest of the components?
