Saddle Broke NJ, the Saddle Brook Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a $7,000 African grey parrot that was stolen from Birds by Joe 2, an exotic bird shop on Route 46 East.
Details of the Incident
The theft occurred on Thursday, January 23, around 4 p.m. According to police, a man wearing a dark-colored Nike hooded sweatshirt entered the shop and requested to see an African grey parrot.
As the store clerk placed the parrot in a cage to show the customer, the man grabbed the cage and fled the store on foot.
